TrueWest Imports is very proud to offer for sale this 1966 Rambler Rebel 2 Door Hardtop
According to some US auto critics and authorities, the 1965-1966 Rambler Classic Hardtops & Convertibles are about the only collectible middle-size Ramblers between 1958 and 1967.
1966 was the first year that the “Rebel” name re-appeared after being discontinued after the 1957–1960 model years. The Rebel featured bucket seats, special interior and exterior trim, as well as a revised roofline.
This Rebel is solid underneath in the floors and frame.
As a very well preserved and maintained rare classic this Rebel is original inside and out. The original white paint and black vinyl roof exterior is in amazing condition as is the original red interior
It is powered by a 232 cu in (3.8 L) motor (155 hp) that it was born with and mated to its original a Borg Warner “Flash-O-Matic” M-4x three speed automatic.
It has ice-cold factory air-conditioning, power steering and power brakes.
The Rebel also sports a set of AMC OEM styled wheels and like new set of BF Goodrich Radial T/A tyres.
Although a survivor, this Rebel is in turn key condition and ready to be enjoyed just as it is.
It is sure to be the only one at your next car show.
