TrueWest Imports is very pleased offer for sale this immaculate example of a 1966 Lancia Fulvia 2C Coupé.
This particular car is entered in the Italian Historical Lancia Register with a registration number of 1689. A copy of the certificate comes with the vehicle,
Designed by Piero Castagnero, who was supposedly inspired by the “Riva” brand of motorboats, the Fulvia Coupe is a true 2-seater sports Berlinetta 2+2. The Fulvia mostly uses the internals of the sedan version released two years earlier. The lines are simple, sleek, elegant and harmonious and the interior has cured finishes, such as the dashboard clad in real wood. The Fulvia was also given performance sports treatment to make it, later, a hugely successful FIA Rally champion.
Built on a shortened sedan platform, the compact front wheel drive Fulvia coupé is powered by a 1216cc 80 bhp V4 engine. It has two double barrel Solex 3 carburettors, while the 4-speed gearbox has a cloche lever between the seats.
With a weight of 950 kg, according to the factory, the small sports car reached 173 km/h (108 mph).
The original interior is in truly exceptional condition. All body panels are straight, and the paint is unmarked. No wonder the Owner has it entered into the Italian Historical Lancia Register!
This is certainly a car that has been looked after all its life and is now looking for a new home and another owner to enjoy this example of true Italian craftsmanship.
